TimberTight has secured a top industry accreditation during our latest audit, achieving the “gold standard”.

Our team scooped the highest rating from the industry’s leading organisation – The Structural Timber Association (STA).

The STA audit report stated: “A solid performance again this year for TimberTight and last year’s high compliance score maintained. Well done.

It was rewarding to see two recommendations made last year adopted this year.  This involved detail on purchase orders and the use of WeTransfer within the Site Safe Section.”

The Gold Standard highlights the hard work and commitment to compliance shown by our Cleckheaton-based company, which was established in 2017 and now employs 30 staff.

We have a Quality Management System (QMS) in line with expected ISO 9001:2015 principles and the STA Assure requirements.

Operations Director Tamsyn Williamson said, “We are delighted that our hard work and attention to detail  has paid off. We are always seeking to consolidate our successes and seek out ways to improve.

“I would like to thank our hard-working team for their commitment to achieving overall excellence.  It goes without saying, that we couldn’t have achieved this without them.”

The audit report also paid tribute to the role of Tamsyn and her husband, Paul Williamson MD.

It said: “Paul has a depth of knowledge within the timber frame industry and Tamsyn Williamson has very good knowledge of management systems, including quality requirements.”
