We’re delighted to start 2026 by announcing two key appointments to the TimberTight team: Chris Love steps up as our new Design Manager, and Craig De Freitas joins as Sales Manager.

The new roles come off the back of another year of steady growth. There’s no getting around it – 2025 brought its challenges, and it was a tough climate for the construction industry as a whole. But thanks to the hard work of our team and the continued trust of our customers, we’ve come through it growing rather than standing still.

As Design Manager, Chris will oversee the work and future growth of our design team, working with the Technical Director to not only ensure the quality of our design process, but keep up to date with the ever changing regulation in the timber frame industry.

Chris comes to us with over 20 years experience in the Timber Frame industry, working for various companies and for many years as a freelance designer.

Craig takes on the Sales Manager role, where Since joining TimberTight as Sales Manager, he brings nearly 20 years’ experience in timber frame sales, mainly within the self-build and small developer market since 2007. Craig said I’m highly customer focused and enjoy guiding clients through the whole process from enquiry to completion.

A key strength is identifying and developing the right leads, particularly self-builders, and helping turn their projects into reality. I take pride in seeing every job through from start to finish.

“We’re really excited to have Craig joining TimberTight as Sales Manager. He brings fantastic energy and enthusiasm to the team, along with over 19 year’s experience in the timber frame industry. His knowledge, customer-focused approach and passion for the sector make him a fantastic addition, and we’re excited about the opportunities ahead as he helps drive Timbertight’s continued growth.”. – Tamsyn Williamson Owner/Director

“We’re delighted to welcome Chris to the TimberTight team as our Timber Frame Designer Manager. Chris brings a wealth of industry experience, combined with a meticulous eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to quality and standards. His expertise and precision are exactly what’s required in such a critical role, and we’re excited to have him helping deliver the high standards our customers have come to expect from TimberTight.”. – Paul Williamson Owner/MD

Both appointments reflect our commitment to investing in our people as we grow. With Chris and Craig in place, we’re set up for an exciting year – and we can’t wait to see what we build together in 2026.
